I was driving on the highway across Kansas a few weeks ago and ended up behind a cop. I just matched his speed and kept a safe distance in the right lane.
As I'm watching my drivers side mirror I see this escalade just hauling ass in the left lane. The speed limit is 75, he had to have been doing 90+. He gets right along side me and slows down, matching the cops speed and eventually gets behind me. I see the same thing happen at least 3 more times in the ~30 miles or so I'm following this cop.
Finally the cop exists and a whole row of cars speeds past me

Yesterday I followed a cop for 30 miles going between 80 and 90. It was pretty cool everyone got out of his way and it made my drive a bit shorter.

Haha. This was totally me on the freeway last week. "Oh shit that's a cop. Hmmm. He's driving really slow. Should I pass him? Would that get pulled over? Wait that guy just passed him without a second thought. Did he not see him? Or did he see him and just not care? Am I being a pussy about this? Maybe he doesn't care."
